Reclaim a youthful, refreshed appearance with Afterglow’s expertly administered neuromodulator treatments. Whether you want to smooth fine lines, soften wrinkles, or prevent future signs of aging, our treatments are tailored to your unique needs. We offer three leading options—Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin—to help you achieve natural-looking results with no downtime.

Neuromodulator Treatments

Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin are advanced neuromodulators that smooth fine lines and wrinkles while preserving natural expressions. Botox targets common areas like forehead lines and crow’s feet, while Dysport works quickly and is ideal for larger treatment areas. Xeomin offers a purified formula with fewer additives, reducing the risk of resistance. All three provide natural-looking results that typically last 3-4 months.

Botox

Botox is one of the most trusted and widely used neuromodulators, designed to relax the muscles responsible for fine lines and wrinkles. By targeting specific areas, Botox creates a smoother, more youthful look without compromising natural expressions.

Benefits :

  • Reduces forehead lines, frown lines, and crow’s feet
  • Softens neck bands and bunny lines
  • Prevents new wrinkles from forming
  • Long-lasting results (3-4 months on average)

Dysport

Dysport is an excellent alternative to Botox, offering a slightly faster onset of results. It is especially effective for treating larger areas like the forehead, providing a smoother and more relaxed appearance.

Benefits :

  • Ideal for clients with moderate to severe wrinkles
  • Works quickly for faster visible results
  • Creates a soft, natural look
  • Results last up to 3-4 months

Xeomin

Known as the “pure” neuromodulator, Xeomin is free from unnecessary proteins, making it an excellent option for those seeking a cleaner formula. Xeomin provides the same results as Botox and Dysport, with a reduced risk of resistance over time.

Benefits :

  • Smooths fine lines and wrinkles with a natural finish
  • Contains no additives or unnecessary proteins
  • Great for those who have developed resistance to other neuromodulators
  • Long-lasting results (3-4 months)

SAFETY

Safety information

Read this before your treatment, and tell your provider about any condition or medicine it mentions.

Get medical help right away if you have trouble swallowing, speaking or breathing after treatment, or new muscle weakness.

Who should not have it

  • Anyone allergic to any botulinum toxin product or to an ingredient in the formulation. Dysport may contain trace amounts of cow's milk protein, so it is not for anyone allergic to it.
  • Anyone with an infection where the injections would go.
  • People with a neuromuscular disorder such as myasthenia gravis, Lambert-Eaton syndrome or ALS, or with swallowing or breathing difficulties. The labels call for extra caution and monitoring, so tell your provider first.
  • People with heart disease: the labels report cardiovascular events after botulinum toxins, some fatal, and advise caution.
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding: there are no adequate studies in pregnant women. Tell your provider if either applies.

Common side effects

  • Headache: 9% of patients treated for forehead lines with BOTOX Cosmetic in trials, and 12% of patients treated for frown lines with Jeuveau.
  • Drooping eyelid or brow: eyelid drooping in 2–3% of patients treated for frown lines; brow drooping in 2% treated for forehead lines.
  • Swelling around the eyes after treatment of crow's feet (about 1%).
  • Pain or a reaction at the injection site.
  • Dry eye after injection near the eye.

Serious risks

  • Spread of toxin effect, an FDA boxed warning: the effect can spread beyond the injection site, causing generalized weakness, double or blurred vision, drooping eyelids, and trouble swallowing, speaking or breathing. It can appear hours to weeks after injection. Swallowing and breathing difficulties can be life-threatening.
  • Serious allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis, hives, swelling and difficulty breathing.

FDA approval and off-label use

BOTOX Cosmetic is FDA-approved for frown lines, crow’s feet, forehead lines and neck bands; Jeuveau and Dysport for frown lines only, and Dysport’s approval is for adults under 65. BOTOX (the same drug, a different label) is approved for severe underarm sweating that topical treatments haven’t controlled. Using any of them anywhere else is off-label. Units of the three are not interchangeable: each product is dosed on its own scale.
