Cellulite Reduction Therapy in Corte Madera & Los Gatos

Cellulite affects over 80% of women regardless of weight or fitness level — it’s a structural issue caused by fibrous bands beneath the skin pulling fat into uneven pockets. At Afterglow, we address cellulite with a combination of radiofrequency, vacuum massage, and targeted body treatments that work on the structural cause, not just the surface.

How It Works

Our cellulite reduction protocol uses the T-Shape 2 device to deliver RF energy and mechanical massage deep into the skin. This combination breaks down the fibrous septae responsible for the dimpled appearance, while stimulating collagen production to restore smoother, firmer skin texture from within.

What to Expect

During Treatment
Sessions are comfortable — most patients describe the sensation as a warm, deep massage. No pain, no needles, no downtime. Treatment takes 30–45 minutes per area.

Results Timeline
Skin texture begins improving after 3–4 sessions. More significant smoothing develops over 8–10 sessions. Results are best maintained with periodic follow-up treatments.

Who Is a Good Candidate?

Anyone bothered by cellulite on the thighs, buttocks, abdomen, or arms. This treatment is effective across a range of body types and is not limited to patients at a specific weight.

Quick answers to questions you may have

Does it work for everyone?
Most patients see meaningful improvement, though results vary based on the degree of cellulite and individual response. A consultation allows us to give you a realistic expectation based on your specific situation.
Can I combine it with T-Shape body contouring?
Yes — and we often recommend it. T-Shape 2 addresses both at the same time, making it the most efficient option for patients who want fat reduction and cellulite improvement together.

SAFETY

Safety information

Read this before your treatment, and tell your provider about any condition or medicine it mentions.

Who should not have it

  • Pregnancy, an active skin infection, or certain medications: the AAD says skin-tightening procedures aren't right in these cases.
  • Tell your provider first if you have a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device, metal implants in the area, epilepsy, active cancer or uncontrolled diabetes, are breastfeeding, or have had recent surgery in the area.

Common side effects

  • Redness and swelling in the treated area, with little risk of other side effects when performed by a qualified provider (AAD).
  • Little or no downtime.
  • Warmth: the device heats the skin to about 40–45°C during treatment, and slight redness or warmth can last a few hours.
