DR. MICHAEL POTTER, MD

Dr. Potter is a board-certified family physician with over 30 years of experience in primary and preventive care. He completed his undergraduate and medical education at Harvard University, his residency at UCSF’s Family Medicine Program at San Francisco General Hospital, and an Advanced Training in Clinical Research Fellowship at UCSF. He has been a member of the UCSF faculty since 1994.
His research has focused on preventive health, the management of chronic illness in primary care settings, and how healthcare system design affects patient outcomes. In practice, his approach centers on careful listening and long-term continuity – qualities that make him a strong fit for concierge medicine. He sees patients of all ages, from children through adults.
